Due to an unexpected absence in our client schools English department, there is an urgent need for a qualified English teacher to join them in January, initially on a temporary basis, though this is an open vacancy so the successful English teacher will have the opportunity to secure a fixed term contract.
- Earn in line with your teaching scale point (£110 - £165 per day)
- Join collaborative department who achieved best ever GCSE results last academic year
- Easily accessible via tram routes from Manchester city centre
- Full time position starting in January 19
Our client school is a large, well facilitated secondary situated on the outskirts of Manchester which is easily accessible from Oldham, Manchester and surrounding areas due to it's close proximity to the M60 motorway. Since moving to the purpose built site in recent years, there has been a consistent and sustainable improvements in all standards with Ofsted recently commenting on the Good leadership and management. The decisive action plan implemented by SLT has seen standards of teaching and learning improve, which has paid dividends in recent attainment levels and an increase in pupil progress across Key Stage 3 and 4.

The incoming English teacher will be supported by our Lead Teacher of English, and any newly qualified English teachers will be able to benefit from our excellent NQT support and given the opportunity to progress through their NQT year with ourselves."
