The school: English Teacher September start Edmonton selective school

Set in spacious grounds this outstanding Grammar school is located around a 5 minute walk from Edmonton Green train station with parking on site.

The English department is made up of a strong Head of Department who has been working at the school for over 10 years. They are looking for a member of staff who is committed and hardworking, who will be able to hit the ground running in the department

At the heart of the schools aims are cultural and social development. Drama, sport and music play a large part in the schools ethos as they look to make all pupils as well rounded as possible.

The school is a mixed secondary school with a sixth form attached to the school.

The role: English Teacher September start Edmonton selective school

Starting in September, the school is looking for an English teacher for 5 days a week. This school is a selective Grammar school so they require teachers who have strong subject knowledge and are able to inspire students in their subject.

The department's exam results are outstanding at both GCSE and at 'A' level, our latest results being 93% A*/A at GCSE and 98% A*/B at A-level.

You will be teaching across the ability range from KS3-5 and will be expected to mark and plan work.

The school are looking for someone who can start in September and hit the ground running. You will be given a full induction programme but will be expected to be a confident self starter

The school is looking for a fully qualified English teacher who is available to start in September.

You will have previous experience working in secondary schools ideally in North London and will have a track record in raising attainment

e able to confirm that you have a DBS on the update service
