Teaching Personnel represent a number of schools in South Sheffield, Chesterfield and Worksop. We are currently seeking an Early Years Specialist Teaching Assistant for a full time role in a South Sheffield School.
Many EYFS children are starting September 'not school ready' - this includes basic skills, cognitive development, social skills and behaviour. We are looking for experienced practitioners, who are Level 3 qualfied to join us for September roles. We are ideally looking for someone who is available on a full time basis, but would consider job share for the right candidate. You will work in small groups or on a 121 basis supporting the EYFS curriculum and doing observations.
Our ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant will be:
- Minimum of NVQ L2 or equivalent
- Good Literacy, Numeracy and communication skills (A - C, GCSE Levels)
- Recent experience in a Nursery/Early Years setting
- Good understanding of child development and play led learning
- Ability to create an inclusive environment
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently and as part of a team
- Experience completing observations in the Early Years
- Knowledge of Speech and Language interventions
