Criminology Graduate
Job description
Are you a recent Criminology graduate with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young people? A SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school is seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join their team as a Teaching Assistant starting in September.
As a Teaching Assistant at our SEMH school, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support due to social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported on their educational journey.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in Criminology who is interested in applying their knowledge and skills to support vulnerable young people and help them reach their full potential. While experience working in a similar setting is advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.
If you are empathetic, resilient, and eager to make a difference in the lives of young people, we encourage you to apply. Join our team and become a vital part of our mission to empower students with SEMH needs to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
