Are you an experienced Primary Teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT) seeking to gain experience?

Are you looking to teach within a variety of schools to develop your skills or for variety?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting qualified Primary Teachers (with QTS) to work on a supply basis with our lovely primary schools in and around the Barry and Vale of Glamorgan area.

The ideal educator will need to hold a QTS or equivalent, adequate references, a valid up to date DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one, and an inspiring and nurturing character!

What we are looking for:

  • Someone looking for a flexible supply role that also provides them with the opportunity to support pupils within a Primary School
  • You will need to have a good understanding of the current Primary curriculum in Welsh schools.
  • Promoting and reinforcing student’s self-esteem and encouraging children to maximise their achievement and development.
  • A passion for supporting and helping to develop children with additional learning needs and or challenging behaviour.
  • Strong classroom management skills while providing an inclusive learning environment.

The schools we are partnered with have fantastic modern facilities, supportive teaching assistants and offer the perfect base for someone to settle into a teaching career or develop their skills if newly qualified.

Working on supply is a great way to introduce yourself to new schools, to meet the senior leadership teams and to find out which type of workplace environment benefits your style of Teaching. This will be highly beneficial to helping you secure a new permanent contract in September.
