Job description

A Special Educational Needs School in Lincoln is currently looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis. The school caters for students with a range of needs including complex Autism and severe learning difficulties. In the Early years class, you will be required to support students using a sensory based curriculum. PECs and Makaton would be an advantage.

You will be required to assist the children in learning and helping them to engage through work and play. Help with personal care will be required as part of the role.

This position is to start as soon as possible and will be to work on a long term basis. The school day will run from 8:30am - 3:30am. The school book every day, so if you are looking for flexibility to work when suits you, please contact me for more information.

The ideal candidate must have experience of working with the following:

-Early Years Curriculum
-Severe Learning Difficulties
-Supporting in the classroom
