Early Year SEN Teaching Assistant for Hammersmith Primary School

  • Competitive pay: £55 to £70 day rate (on experience)
  • 5 days a week

We at Teaching Personnel dedicate in having driven and ambitious Early Year SEN Support to work in one of the established Primary Schools around the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. We pride in finding the right candidates who has the experience in working with SEN Children, and who can teach Early Years and Key Stage 1 (KS1), and committed to working 3-5 days a week. The supporting candidate will have or obtaining a level 3 in early year education, and it is essential to have previous experience in dealing with children who have learning difficulties. A successful Early Year SEN Support TA will:

  • Able to attain and engage with children who have learning difficulties
  • Show a genuine interest in helping children and building them to a brighter future
  • 1year + experience in behaviour mentor, phoenix and nurturing children (related field)
  • Create and prepare a daily routine for an individual SEN child
  • Monitor behaviours and identify needs
  • Hold a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one if successful

Extra consideration will be made if you have:

  • Drive to develop career in education
  • Extra relating courses
  • Qualification in early years education (level 3 preferably)

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Registration is subject to an Enhanced DBS, valid references from recent employers and proof of right to work in the UK (AGY).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
