ECT Teaching Opportunity – LA2

Start: ASAP (September starts also available)
Contract: Temporary with potential for a school‑based contract

Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain hands‑on teaching experience after completing your degree and training? Schools across LA2 are seeking enthusiastic new teachers who are ready to begin their careers, with immediate starts available as well as secure September placements for the new academic year.

Teaching Personnel works closely with a range of supportive primary and secondary schools in the area, offering excellent opportunities for ECTs to grow their confidence, develop their teaching style, and thrive in welcoming school environments.


About the Role

You will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in your specialist subject or phase
  • Build valuable paid experience to support your ECT development
  • Work with supportive staff teams who help new teachers progress
  • Gain exposure to a variety of school settings before committing long‑term

Many roles begin on a temporary basis but often lead to school‑based or permanent contracts.


What We’re Looking For

  • ECT / QTS (or awaiting award)
  • Passionate, motivated, and ready to begin your teaching journey
  • Available ASAP or interested in September roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
