Early Career Teacher Required – Carnforth Area

• Full‑time teaching role
• Competitive rates of pay (dependent on experience)
• Start date: April 2026

Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming village primary school in the Carnforth area that is seeking to appoint an Early Career Teacher from April 2026 on a full‑time basis. The school is a supportive, one‑form‑entry setting with a strong community ethos, and they are looking for someone who can help children thrive and become the best versions of themselves.

The school is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic ECT who can deliver engaging lessons, build strong relationships with pupils, and uphold the school’s values. This role will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential to progress onto a school‑based contract for the right candidate.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be an Early Career Teacher or due to qualify
  • Be supportive of the school’s ethos
  • Be confident in planning and delivering lessons across the primary curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
