Supply Teacher – Opportunities Across Lancaster

Location: Lancaster and surrounding areas
Start Date: ASAP or September 2026
Salary: £120–£160 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to support a variety of Primary schools across Lancaster. Whether you're available immediately or planning ahead for a September 2026 start, we have flexible opportunities to suit you.

About the Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Maintain behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Experience different school settings to build confidence and develop professionally.

Both day‑to‑day supply and longer‑term placements are available, with options for full-time or part-time work.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a proactive, flexible attitude.
  • A passion for supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
