Early Careers Teacher Required for a Primary School in Blackpool, Lancashire 

Full Time KS1 Position – Starting in September 2026

Temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person! 

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary School in Blackpool who are looking for a dedicated and proactive ECT to join their KS1 staffing team on a full-time basis starting in the new academic year.

The role is to work closely with other KS1 professionals to deliver lessons in a larger than average Year 1 class. The school are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher to encourage learners continually by ensuring lessons are proactive and engaging. Ideally, applicants will hold an English specialism and have strong phonics knowledge.

The school have high levels of EAL and SEN so they are looking for a ECT who is adaptable to situations and can make learning inclusive for all children.

This is a full-time role that will start in September 2026 and will run for a full year. The opportunity to work on a permanent contract may be possible for the right person. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT who is looking to get stuck into a full time Teaching post where continual support and guidance will be provided. The school can support the successful ECT with their induction and will offer continual feedback and support.

To be considered for this post, you will:

- Have completed your PGCE or Primary Education degree and will hold QTS

- Have recent experience Teaching in KS1

- Have strong curriculum knowledge and behaviour management skills

- Be looking for your next long term teaching role and will be able to commit to at least 1 year

- Have a positive working attitude and desire to deliver outstanding lessons in all subject areas

The school are looking to short list for this post as soon as possible and will be accepting applications up until Friday 22nd May 2026. Interviews and observations will take place week commencing 8th June 2026.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
