EAL Teaching Assistant for part time role in Liverpool

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a multi cultural school based in Wirral. The school itself has children from all walks of life from several different backgrounds and religious groups. Due to this factor, there are several different languages spoken across the site meaning there is an increased need for TA’s with experience in this field.

The school has a supportive teaching structure whereby standards are kept to a high level with regards to pupils learning across the board.

Candidates must have a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification in order to be considered for this role. They will be required to work with pupils in small groups and also on a 1:1 basis – experience working with SEN pupils is not necessary but is advantageous.

This post will involve working as part of a team of Teaching Assistants, working alongside teachers to support whole classes as well as focussing on particular students who may need a higher level of intervention and support.
