Are you a Design Technology Teacher with a specialism in Resistant Materials?
Are you currently available to start work and looking in the Doncaster Area?
The school is a smaller than average school with approximately 700 pupils on roll. The school has been judged as a 'Good' school in all areas by Ofsted. Although the candidate should be experienced working within a Design Technology department, the school requires a Teacher with experience teaching Resistant Materials to GCSE. The candidate should be comfortable with all of the coursework elements of the course.
The need for a Design Technology Teacher has come about due to a planned absence. Although the position is initially temporary the school is looking to expand the department from September 2018 due to rising pupil numbers. The Head Teacher is keen to consider the successful candidate for a potential permanent role in the new academic year.
The Doncaster based school would be happy to consider both NQT's and experienced Technology Teachers. The school is looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Resistant Materials curriculum who would be confident planning and teaching high quality lessons to a variety of pupil abilities and backgrounds.
A successful candidate will benefit from the following:
- Supportive department and Senior Leadership Team
- Potential for a permanent position for a suitable candidate
- Excellent school location with good transport links
If you feel that this role would be suitable for you then contact Kim Johnson at Teaching Personnel as soon as possible on 0114 241 3341 or send an up to date CV via the link below.
