A large Secondary School in Leeds, West Yorkshire are currently looking to take on a qualified Design & Technology teacher for a maternity cover role starting in October 2016.
The school are seeking a specialist in Graphics and Product Design as the GCSE aspect of the timetable involves teaching these subjects. You will also teach other aspects of Technology at KS3 so must be flexible to do so. Recent experience of delivering Graphics and Product Design at GCSE level is essential.
You must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK and have recent teaching experience (from within the last 6 years).
The role is full time covering a maternity leave from October 2016 up until July 2017.
The school is in Leeds, West Yorkshire and has excellent transport links, with a regular bus stop just a ten minute walk from the school gates and close motor way links.
As part of this role, as well as part of working through Teaching Personnel, you will have access to a range of CPD courses to ensure you remain up to date with the changes in the curriculum and further develop your skill set.
