Design and Technology teacher required at Oldham secondary school to cover long term requirement.
Any Design and Technology teachers looking for a new opportunity from Easter 2019 are urged to take a look at the below requirement.
- April 2019 start date, full time position
- Predominantly a Resistant Materials timetable, elements of other DT lessons included
- Initially two term temporary post, with a view to securing permanent post upon successful completion
- Excellent facilities for incoming DT teacher due to modern setting
- Attractive daily rates for initially temporary period (up to £35k per annum)
- Situated off M60 motorway between Junction 21 and 22.
This post is open to all levels of applicants including those who have newly qualified. The school are willing and open to supporting the progression and development of any NQTs and can accommodate the completing of an induction year. There is no preference about the levels of experience, providing applicants are able to deliver a high calibre of lesson across both KS3 and GCSE, teaching mainly Resistant Materials. In terms of expectations, due to the long term nature of this post there school would like the incoming teacher to plan and mark schemes of work for the duration.
As well as joining a highly successful secondary school, the school will also provide support for the incoming member of staff, including access to a bespoke professional development programme and management training for those looking at the next step in their career.
