With this, the school are looking for a highly experienced and confident Year 1 Teaching Assistant to work generally in small groups and with individual children. The class teacher will use you as an aid to learning as well as behaviour, giving additional responsibility with planning and assessment. With this in mind, the Head teacher is keen to appoint a practitioner who has a track record of raising standards in the classroom and one who is keen to 'muck in'. The school are NOT looking for a 'supply' member of staff or somebody who thinks this role will be a 'breeze'.
