Are you a strong and experienced D+T Teacher? Are you looking for a new role? Can you teach KS3-KS5 D+T? If so we have the perfect role for you!
Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a community school in Bedlington to appoint a D+T Teacher to cover a sickness. Specifically, the role involves mainly teaching Textiles and Health and Social Care. The role is currently until the end of term however, has the potential to be extended. You will be expected to prepare and deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils of mixed ability.
The school currently has over 700 pupils on roll: students are mostly well behaved and the school prides it self on its committed and caring staff ethos. This combined with the SLT's continued commitment to the performing arts, sports and a wealth of extra-curricular activities ensures all learners are fully supported and challenged to achieve their potential.
NQTs with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
An ideal candidate will have:
- UK recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching D+T at a variety of levels
- A friendly and patient approach to teaching and good behaviour management skills
- A desire to make a positive difference to pupils within the school
- The ability to plan and deliver effective lessons and develop relationships with staff and pupils
