Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a thriving city centre Secondary School to source a flexible, committed and dynamic Cover Supervisor to join their team.

Are you perhaps looking to start a career in teaching? Are you a subject specialist graduate who wants to move in to teaching eventually? Maybe you want to take the next step in progressing from an LSA to a Cover Supervisor role?

Demands for graduates and those looking to train to teach in the future are at a high from schools who are in vital need of support to cover lessons in which their usual teacher are absent. Schools see the benefits of utilising graduates who have the ability to build excellent rapport with young people whilst having good knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to maintain classroom control.

You may have experience in tutoring or coaching, or have the skills to manage a classroom of pupils, or perhaps a relevant degree or caring background – this could be the role for you.

This is an opportunity for someone to take on a great full time, temporary to permanent opportunity. 

This is a great way to build your teaching experience, particularly if you are looking to start a PGCE or similar programme in the future, aiding your application and making you a stronger all round teacher.
