Join the support department within a secondary school in Manchester, providing targeted guidance for young people including those with SEN and additional learning needs.

  • Full-time Cover Supervisor (and flexible working scheudles available).
  • Imeediate work available.
  • Small secondary school in North Manchester.
  • Earn up to £1450-£1550 per month.

Responsibilities of a cover supervisor include:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons/work covering a teacher’s absence.
  • Facilitate learning across varying levels of ability within specific subjects.
  • Support children aged 11-16 with additional learning needs.
  • Support students in small groups who require additional guidance to reach their attainment grades.
  • Gain invaluable experience towards teaching training applications.

Application Requirements

  • Any transferrable experience working with children/young people is required.
  • You do not need a teaching qualification.

Located in North Manchester, our client secondary school can be accessed via the M62/A56 from surrounding areas including Oldham, Rochdale and Failsworth. For non-drivers, there is several public transportation links meaning the school can be accessed from neighbouring areas such as Moston, Middleton and Tameside.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
