Job description

Cover Supervisors Required – Secondary Schools in Salford

We are looking for dedicated and professional Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Salford starting in January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with a strong interest in education to gain valuable classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to students
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
  • Adhere to school policies and safeguarding procedures

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students effectively
  • Previous experience in education or working with young people is advantageous but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
