English Graduate Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic English Graduate Cover Supervisor to support a thriving secondary school. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, and help create a positive learning environment for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set English lessons and maintain strong classroom management

• Support students with reading, writing, and analytical skills

• Encourage engagement and boost confidence in English

• Work alongside the English department to ensure high standards of learning

• Step into various subjects when needed as part of the cover team

About You

• A degree in English Literature, English Language or a related subject

• Confident communicator with a passion for education

• Able to motivate and engage young people

• Organised, proactive and adaptable

• Previous experience with young people
