Job Duties:

The Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising students in the absence of their regular teachers. Duties include maintaining classroom order, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, managing student behaviour, and ensuring a safe learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

- A relevant educational qualification

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively with students

Education:

A degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

Prior experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

- Understanding of classroom management techniques

- Proficiency in following and delivering lesson plans

- Ability to handle challenging behaviour effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

- Teaching Assistant certification

- First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

The Cover Supervisor will work in a school environment, following the school calendar and schedule. The role may involve occasional interaction with parents and school staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
