Job Duties:

• Supervise and manage students in the absence of a teacher
• Ensure classroom discipline and behaviour management
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and assist students with their work
• Support the learning and development of students across different subjects

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or young adults preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of classroom management techniques
• Basic knowledge of a range of subjects taught in schools
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

• Working in a school environment
• Full-time hours with potential for additional responsibilities
• Interacting with students, teachers, and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
