Are you a graduate and aspiring teacher? Do you have the desire to build your skills working within a school? Can you make a difference, supporting pupils learning?
A ‘Good’ school as rated by Ofsted, based in the DE13 area of Derbyshire, is currently looking to appoint cover supervisors to work as part of a supportive and inclusive cover team.
A successful applicant should:
• Be someone who is confident and assertive with the ability to deliver a range of lesson across the curriculum.
• Have strong subject knowledge in Maths and English.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Be adaptable to a variety of situations.
• Have extensive knowledge in one subject area.
• Have previous experience working and supporting children either in or out of an educational setting.
The school is a larger than average school, l located in the Burton upon Trent area of Derby. The school aims to create an inclusive environment where both staff and pupils are supported to achieve the best of their abilities, ensuring that every child receives an outstanding education.
By working with Teaching Personnel, which has existed since 1996, you will be given access to the 'CPD Academy', which is great for those looking to develop their skills and aspiring teachers. Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers such as the National Association of SEN to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities, covering areas such as; assessment for learning, planning for progression, effective behaviour management, teaching for learning, using data, SEND, effective adult learning support, supporting pupils with BESD, Safeguarding, etc.
