Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to support a school in the Bolton area with staffing absences and provide classroom support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting secondary school students in KS3+4
  • Flexible work schedule to fit your availability
  • Earning potential from £12.85 per hour

About the Role:

The role of a Cover Supervisor is to provide support to schools during teacher absences by delivering set lessons and managing classroom behaviour. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a school setting and enhance your CV.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and ensuring a smooth continuation of learning in the absence of the teacher. The duration of your placement can vary from day-to-day to up to 1 academic year, depending on your availability.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have previous experience working with young people
  • Possess excellent behaviour management skills
  • Hold a current DBS or be willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
