Job Title: Core Subject SEN Tutor
Location:
South East England, East Sussex, Brighton
Job Type:
Temporary, Part-Time hours
Salary:
£25 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide one-to-one tutoring for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in core subjects.
- Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
- Implement effective teaching strategies to support students in achieving academic goals.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student learning.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with SEN.
- Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises in SEN education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students with diverse learning needs.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling.
- Potential travel to student homes or other locations for tutoring sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
