Computer Science Teacher- GOOD school- Macclesfield
Teaching Personnel have been approached by a large 11-18 secondary school and sixth form to recruit for a Computer Science Teacher ahead of the new academic year. This vacancy represents an exciting opportunity for a Computer Science Teacher to join a reputable school and teach pupils who are passionate about their learning. The school are open to offering the successful Computer Science Teacher a fixed-term/permanent contract:
Overview-
- Full time position starting in Sept 2018
- Teaching Computer Science to KS3/4
- Possibility of a fixed-term/permanent contract after the initial supply period (one term)
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)

The Head teacher of this high achieving school is seeking to appoint a competent and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher. This position is to deliver the Key Stage 3 & 4 Computer Science curriculum. Experience of teaching KS5 Computer Science is preferred (although not essential).The incoming Computer Science Teacher will have access to fantastic facilities including two IT suites all equipped with PCs that have the latest software/programmes.
The school enjoys an excellent reputation within the local area and as a result is consistently over-subscribed. There are currently over 1000 pupils on roll with a large percentage of students coming from White British backgrounds. The numbers of pupils considered to be disadvantaged are average in line with national statistics.
The school is situated on the outskirts of Macclesfield close to the A523. This offers easy access to the areas of Stockport such as Hazel Grove and Cheadle. It is also only a short drive away from the areas Wilmslow and Buxton.
