***Teacher of Computer Science needed this September for School in Bordon!***

We are working with an Ofsted "Good" School in the Bordon area, just off the A3. The School are a relatively small Secondary School, that places huge importance on getting to know each young person at their School. The School, staff and students all share a family ethos, where an emphasis is placed on mutual support and respect. High expectations and aspirations are encouraged in each member of the student body, and the Staff.

In September 2019, the School will relocate to a purpose built new-build academy in Bordon. Currently under construction with an investment in excess of £30M, it will include state of the art facilities for all departments.

The School have recently academised but keep true to their individual identity, and benefit from a working relationship with the University of Chichester, who support with their provision of CPD and much more.

In October 2016, Ofsted inspectors reported that, "Pupils have consistently positive attitudes to their learning. Parents, pupils and staff recognise good behaviour as a strength of the school. Pupils are polite and respectful towards each other and their teachers as they move around the school."

The Computer Science department has 3 computer suites at the moment, and when the School moves to its new site the Department will enjoy state of the art facilities. There is opportunity for the right candidate to progress to taking on leadership opportunities as the School grows, shaping the Department in the move, and helping to support the progress of the Department and School as a whole.

This is a once in a life time opportunity for an ambitious practitioner to play a key role in an important and growing subject area across the school.

There are rich and growing professional development opportunities, overseen by the Deputy Principal. The school is committed to bespoke provision for every member of staff to develop their expertise as a practitioner and their career.

Please apply using your CV, all successful applicants are subject to stringent vetting procedures.
