Maternity Cover - Class Teacher (Primary) - Poulton-le-Fylde
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time, 2-term maternity cover
Salary: DOE
Location: Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire

A well-regarded primary school in Poulton-le-Fylde is seeking a confident, committed teacher to cover a maternity leave from January 2026. This is a full-time role in a settled class with excellent behaviour, strong routines, and a leadership team that values professional autonomy and high standards.

We’re looking for someone who brings clarity, consistency, and warmth to the classroom. You’ll be joining a team that works collaboratively, shares planning, and supports each other to deliver excellent outcomes for children.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in primary education
  • Someone confident in delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Strong classroom management and a clear, consistent approach
  • A team player who contributes positively to school life
  • Experience in KS1 or KS2 (year group can be matched to strengths)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
