Location: Blackpool
Start Date: November 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)
Key Stage: KS1 – Year 2

Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and welcoming school?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Blackpool from November 2025 to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing environment that values creativity, collaboration, and high standards of teaching and learning.

The Role

  • Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 2 class
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
  • Strong understanding of phonics, SATs preparation, and child development
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
