Catering Assistant – Taunton

Are you passionate about food, friendly service, and making a difference in children’s lives? Teaching Personnel are looking for a Catering Assistant to join a welcoming school community in the Taunton area. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with the preparation and serving of nutritious meals for pupils
• Help with setting up and maintaining food counters
• Support the catering team during busy lunchtimes
• Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
• Occasionally transport meals to other local schools that receive ‘hot box’ meals

• Experienced in catering (preferred but not essential – full training will be provided!)
