A highly regarded secondary school in Trafford is currently seeking a teacher of Business studies to join their faculty on a full time basis. This position will be from May half term until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue for the right Business Studies teacher.

  • Full time Business Studies teacher position, starting May half term
  • Join an Ofsted graded Good secondary school
  • Get paid to scale MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)
  • Easily accessible via the M56 motorway and public transport links

Situated in Timperley, Trafford our client school is an averaged size mixed 11-18 secondary with sixth form with around 900 students currently on roll. Due to the school having an excellent reputation, students are drawn in from a wide geographical area and pupils demonstrate and excellent attitude to learning, having a positive working relationship with their teachers. The incoming Business studies teacher will be joining a well established faculty with the outcomes of students being particularly strong.

The incoming Business Studies teacher will:

  • Have a UK QTS specialising in Business Studies or similar subject
  • Have previous experience teaching Business Studies up to GCSE
  • Plan and deliver schemes of work in line with the curriculum
  • Assess students to ensure they are developing and progressing in Business Studies
  • Liaise with the Head of Business Studies on the performance of all students

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
