Business Studies teacher required at a well regarded independent school in the central Manchester area. The successful Business Studies teacher will be required to certainly teach up to GCSE level with the potential to teach at A-level. Therefore, any experience of teaching at the higher level is highly desirable and relevant experience should be highlighted upon the applicant’s CV and covering letter.
This is a highly reputable secondary school with a sixth form provision making the school/sixth form highly sought after for staff to teach at. This requirement for a Business Studies teacher is to start in January but with a real prospect of starting sooner if possible given the pending maternity leave which is due to commence.
Key aspects of this Business Studies teaching role:
- Full time Business Studies teacher required
- Extremely reputable independent secondary school situated in the central Manchester area
- Teach KS3 and KS4 Business Studies with the prospect of teaching A-level provision
- Start: Monday 6th January with the possibility of starting sooner during this term
- Pay will be dependent upon payscale and experience with planning and marking expected as part of this longer term maternity cover
This school is highly academic with students engaged with their learning and having a model work ethic instilled within them from a young age. As a result, behaviour is fantastic and teachers are very happy to teach at this school. Staff turnover is very low and as a direct result, the school has high expectations with the successful Business Studies teacher being expected to teach engaging lessons of the highest standards.
The school is located in the central Manchester area making it very easy to commute to for any Business Studies teachers that are on public transport. For those living in any of the nearby areas of Stockport, Trafford, Prestwich, Chorlton or Tameside, the school is also ideally located on a main road which travels through Manchester.
