Business Studies Teacher needed for growing Chichester Academy Trust

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a Multi Academy Trust with several secondary Schools located within Portsmouth and West Sussex area. The Trust was formed from a genuine desire to work more closely together following the success of existing partnership work between the schools. They are looking to expand and join with an FE college in the near future which will present opportunities further into your career top progress to KS5 is you chose to do so.

Applications from NQTs or from more experienced teachers are welcome. The school has well established induction arrangements. Paired with a mentor, you will receive 1:1 support from a colleague with experience mentoring an NQT programme. Your timetable will include contact time alongside adequate PPA time, increasing around observations.

The role will involve delivering KS3 and KS4 business studies to our inspiring students and entrepreneurs. The Academy are involved in a scheme to boost its aspiring students in enterprise and so you should be prepared to be included in the delivery and mentoring of this within timetable.

The successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Aspire to be outstanding in classroom practice
  • Have excellent communication skills, be able to articulate her/his expectations
  • Have flexibility and an abundance of energy
  • Be inspiration to students within the subject and beyond
  • UK QTS or equivalent
  • Looking for full time work, part time would be considered for the right candidate
