Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking 1:1 male Behaviour Mentors for a special School in Havering for primary and secondary aged pupils with complex behavioural difficulties. This role will be providing 1:1 support for pupils who have high behavioural needs , that have been excluded from mainstream and PRU setting, and require additional support in their education . We are seeking confident people who have previous experience working either in PRU setting or have experience / training working with young people who have behavioural, social, emotional or mental health difficulties.

This role will be for an immediate start one term contract post in the first instance with the potential to become permanent.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
