The college now has 7 sites and is expanding as it has succeeded with young people where previous schools have been unable. Most students have social, emotional or behavioural issues and the focus is on ensuring pupils succeed in the long term, not just briefly. Their approach is nurture-based, with positive management of behaviour, supported by a rewards system that helps promote positive outcomes. There is a high pupil to staff than ratio, very small classes, varying from 1 - 5 students.
As the school has 7 sites they are able to place each student in the right environment for his or her particular needs. The school are strongly focused on positive outcomes and every child has their own individual Student Support Plan that takes into account each pupil's EHCP. There are many extra-curricular clubs that support the pupils individual talents and interests.
All roles are full-time 0820 - 1600 and term time only.
