Teaching Personnel is working closeley with s specialist Pupil Referral Unit in Wakefield that caters to students from Key Stages 1-4. The role is full time and has the potential to turn into a permanent position depending on the success of the candidate. The students have been excluded from mainstream education and may have Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues, be Looked After or from disadvantaged backgrounds, have attachment disorders and are very vulnerable. The right candidate MUST HAVE the Team Teach, MAPA or equivalent qualification so that they can confidentially deescalate challenging behaviours if and when they arise.
These children need extra support to reengage with their studies from someone who is open minded and non-jugdmental.
