Youth Workers Required for a setting in Colchester!

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an alternative provision that cater for young people with social and emotional difficulties in Colchester. The school is seeking to recruit youth workers to help support the children with their learning. The school believe youth workers have the engaging personality to help support these young people. In this role the youth worker will be expected to work both in school and around the local community to provide personalised support for the young people.
The ideal youth worker for this role will have a background in youth work and will therefore have the knowledge and ability to manage challenging behaviour in a way which still produces positive outcomes. Having a relevant qualification such as a youth and community work degree will also enhance your application.
Work type will include working term time only, Monday - Friday 8.45 - 4pm and 8.45 - 3.15pm on Fridays. There may be an opportunity for permanent employment.
