Behaviour Support Assistant needed ASAP!

Teaching Personnel work with a Blackburn based School which caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Learning Difficulties and pupils who display challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils between KS1 - KS4, therefore candidates must be happy to work with a range of age groups. The School cater for pupils who struggle to remain in mainstream education and candidates must be willing to work with pupils who are often violent in their behaviours.

The role will start September 3rd, it is a full time role and candidates must be willing to work on a 1:1 and/or small group basis and provide emotional and academic intervention for the pupils. The hours for this role are 8.40am - 3.15pm and candidates may get to finish at 3pm on a Friday.

The successful candidate will be; hard working, have experience supporting children or adults who display challenging behaviours, be looking for a long term if not permanent role and be willing to work with pupils who are often aggressive in their behaviours.
