Job description

A full time position for a specialised Behaviour Support Assistant. This particular role commences as soon as possible and runs untill the end of the academic year.

This setting is a Pupil Referral Unit which runs across 3 sites all of which are based in Manchester. The Behaviour Support Assistants will ideally have a considerable amount of experience supporting pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour. The pupils who attend this setting are being educated outside of mainstream education for a vairety of reasons which may include: extereme challenging behaviours, young pregnancy or SEMH needs.

To be considered for this role Behaviour Support Assistant will have:

- Experience working within a PRU

- Considerable experience supporting the development of pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour

- A commitment to safeguarding children and young people
