Behaviour Support Assistant – Trafford (M32)

A Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Trafford are currently seeking a committed Behavioural Support Assistant to begin as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be working closely with Secondary-aged pupils, working one-to-one and in small groups.

The incoming Support Assistant will be expected to provide a holistic approach to pupil behaviour, encouraging engagement and progress. They will be managing minor disruptions in line with the unit’s behaviour policies. Assistants will be expected to provide detailed and knowledgeable feedback on specific pupils, contributing to their re-integration into mainstream school.

This role involves working closely with pupils with SEMH needs. Candidates with experience with SEMH and SEN are encouraged to apply.

  • PRU in Trafford (M32), easily accessible by bus, tram or car.
  • £84+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees) paid weekly.
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel until the end of the academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
