Large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in the Salford require a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with a group of male students across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four this academic year. This position will commence with immediate effect, and initially be available until the end of the academic year.
Full time Behaviour Support position

Supporting a group of male students (KS3 and KS4)

Tracking progress and promoting positive behaviour management

Working directly with Inclusion Manager and Behaviour Officer at school

Delivering intervention sessions and providing drop in sessions
The school currently have a small group of male pupils who require additional support during lesson times. The successful Behaviour Support Assistant will work with these pupils on engagement strategies, behaviour management and confidence building. It is essential that the incoming Behaviour Support Assistant has previously worked with young males aged 11-16 in a mentoring or support capacity.
This position is ideal for Sports Coaches, Behaviour Mentors, or Graduates wishing to pursue a career in educational support.

Located near to Uppermill, our partner school is currently oversubscribed with 1,300 pupils on roll. The school has been praised in recent Ofsted inspections for achieving grades significantly above the national average, and are currently working on ensuring that there are provisions in place for all pupils to achieve excellence.
