Salary ranges from: £31,650 to £51,048

Teaching Personnel is supporting a successful secondary school in Bournemouth in the search for an inspiring Religious Education Teacher to join its Humanities department from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about encouraging students to explore religion, philosophy, ethics, and different cultures through engaging and thought-provoking lessons.

The successful applicant will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. As part of a collaborative Humanities team, you will contribute to delivering a broad and engaging curriculum that develops students' critical thinking, communication skills, and understanding of diverse beliefs and perspectives. What we are looking for:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, Or equivalent).
• Strong organisational skills and classroom management skills.
• Able to plan and deliver structured and professional lessons.
• A strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education.
• The ability to build rapport and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.
