Salary ranges from: £31,650 to £51,048

Teaching Personnel is supporting a successful secondary school in Bournemouth in the search for an inspiring Religious Education Teacher to join its Humanities department from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about encouraging students to explore religion, philosophy, ethics, and different cultures through engaging and thought-provoking lessons.

The successful applicant will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The school is known for its inclusive ethos, high expectations, and supportive learning environment, where students are encouraged to become confident, respectful, and independent learners.

As part of a collaborative Humanities team, you will contribute to delivering a broad and engaging curriculum that develops students' critical thinking, communication skills, and understanding of diverse beliefs and perspectives.   • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, Or equivalent).
  • Strong organisational skills and classroom management skills.
  • Able to plan and deliver structured and professional lessons.
  • A strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education.
  • The ability to build rapport and strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.
