Religious Education Teacher- Poole
Start date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time
Salary ranges from: £31,650 to £51,048
Teaching Personnel is working alongside a well-established secondary school in Poole to recruit a dedicated Religious Education Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Humanities department and inspire students to develop an understanding of religion, philosophy, ethics, and the diverse beliefs that shape modern society.
The successful candidate will deliver Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The school has a strong reputation for academic achievement, student wellbeing, and creating a positive, inclusive environment where every learner is supported to succeed.
Working within a supportive Humanities department, you will collaborate with passionate colleagues to deliver engaging lessons that promote curiosity, respectful discussion, and analytical thinking. What we are looking for:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, Or equivalent).
- Strong organisational skills and classroom management skills.
- Able to plan and deliver structured and professional lessons.
- A strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education.
- The ability to build rapport and strong communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
