Secondary Computer Science Teacher (KS3/KS4) – SEMH School | Stamford (PE9 Area)

Are you a passionate Computer Science Teacher looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely transform the lives of young people?

Teaching Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in the Stamford (PE9) area for a KS3/KS4 Computer Science Teacher to join their dedicated team.

This is more than just a teaching role. It's an opportunity to inspire students who thrive with the right support, structure, and relationships, helping them develop valuable digital skills and confidence for the future.


The Role

You will:

  • Deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Computer Science lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEMH needs and varying abilities.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage engagement and progress.
  • Create a calm, inclusive classroom where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled pastoral and multidisciplinary team to support each learner's development.

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or has relevant teaching experience.
  • Has experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
  • Is patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs.
  • Can adapt lessons creatively to engage learners with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Believes every student deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential.

Previous experience within an SEMH, SEND or alternative provision setting is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applications from mainstream teachers with the right attitude and commitment.
