Our client partner secondary school situated in the Ardwick area of Manchester is looking to recruit 2 full time behaviour mentors to start with them in September. There is a lot of uncertainty in the country currently including the education sector but schools are planning to reopen by September at the latest. This partnered school of Teaching Personnel is therefore looking for behaviour mentors who can fulfil the full 360 degree role where you will cover lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher as well as support student as a mentor. This aspect of the role will require strong behaviour management and a presence within the classroom where students will be attentive and engaged with the lesson being delivered.

There will also be the element of supporting within the classroom as a teaching assistant where you will support students with a variety of special educational needs, EAL and provide general support as a behaviour mentor.

This is a long term support position for the full academic year starting in September.

Highlights of this behaviour mentor role:

  • Full time, long term support role exercising effective behaviour management
  • Pay will range between GBP1300 and GBP1400 per month

The school is based in the central Manchester area very close to the city centre in Ardwick. It is therefore very easily accessible for any behaviour mentors who are able to access Ardwick via public transport (regular buses). For those behaviour mentors who drive, this school has a large on site car park available to all staff.
