Behaviour Support Assistant at a Primary School in Croxteth (L12)

A fantastic opportunity is available at a respected primary school in Croxteth (L12). The school is in search of a committed Specialist Support Assistant to join their KS1 department for the remainder of the academic year. While initially temporary, the Head Teacher intends to offer a permanent contract for the upcoming academic year upon successful completion of the probation period.

Responsibilities: As a key member of the team, your role will involve providing support to children facing behavioural and emotional challenges upon their return to full-time education. You'll work closely with students, either one-to-one or in small groups, to facilitate their smooth reintegration into the school and classroom environment. Collaboration with the Class Teacher, school SENCo, and parents will be crucial to identify and implement effective strategies tailored to each child's specific needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
