SEN Teaching Assistant, Kensington (L7)

A role as a SEN TA in Kensington (L7) has become available to support a Year 4 Teacher for a candidate with possessing the necessary qualifications and sufficient experience.

The Head Teacher of this school is hoping to secure a Full-Time SEN TA who can specialise in carrying out 1:1 intervention with a child in Y4 who has moderate learning difficulties. This pupil has recently transferred to this school; therefore, the SENCO leader is hoping to appoint as soon as possible. Thus, the successful candidate will be able to provide full time support to help the child achieve their maximum potential and best engage them into mainstream school life.

SEN Teaching Assistant role

-          5 days per week, working 1:1 with a child in Year 4 with MLD.

-          Learning from the school SENCo and fellow SEN Teaching Assistants, with use of your own prior experience.

-          Working closely with parents to ensure cohesion between school and home.

Details of the role

-          £12.90- £13.50 per hour; paid on a weekly basis.

-          Full-Time 8:45 – 3:20 (with 30 mins lunch).

-          Start from May 2024

-          School rated ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED.
