Behavioural support assistant
Are you looking for a new educational role in the Ely area?
Do you have experience with child psychology, coaching or mentoring?
Covid 19 has put people under a huge amount of pressure and levels of stress can be rising for some. This will also have an effect of pupils once they return to school- levels of anxiety are predicted to rise in children- we want the transition back to school to go as smoothly and stress free as possible for all pupils. Teaching personnel are recruiting for a behavioural support assistant to join a thriving school in Ely from september. Your primary role will be to offer support to children who may find it difficult adjusting back into school life.
This role would be ideally suited to a candidate with a background in child psychology, care, SEN or coaching. You would be working with these children on a 1:1 basis, allowing them to talk about how they are feeling and it will be your job to ensure the pupils are feeling safe and secure back in a school environment.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Safeguarding qualifications
- Experience in working on a 1:1 basis with pupils
- Be a recent graduate with a relevant degree ( Sport, English, maths, psychology)
- Be Compassionate,patient and kind
- A hard working attitude to all aspects of work
