Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a number of Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistants to start in at an alternative provision based in York.

The Job Role:

• Supporting the delivery of all lessons and helping to engage students
• Encouraging and developing the students confidence and independence
• Liaising with teachers, support staff and outside agencies to develop education plans
• Managing behaviour in line with the School's positive reward policy 
• 08:30 to 15:30

Ideal candidate requirements:

• Psychology or Sports background 
• Experience of supporting SEN to include SEMH, ASC or ADHD
• Experience dealing with challenging behaviour
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbally
• Right attitude towards promoting inclusive teaching and learning within SEN
